CivicaPay MidCall - Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance Service

Report of the Corporate Director Resources.

Decision:

The Corporate Director Resources submitted a report seeking the Resource Portfolio Holder to approve the purchase a PCI Compliance Service to work in conjunction with our telephony services.

 

The report is exempt from publication under category 7 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 as it contains “Information relating to any action taken or to be taken in connection with the prevention, investigation or prosecution of crime”. For the same reason, some aspects of the decision that are also exempt from publication have not been included below.

 

Decision

 

The Resources Portfolio Holder agreed:

 

·         That approval is given to proceed with the proposed three-year CivicaPay MidCall service at a cost of £44,940 for implementation (funded from the ICT Strategy Reserve) with annual hosting costs of £10,842 met from existing IT budgets.

 

·         That approval is given to proceed under the Exemption to Contract Procedures contained within the Financial Regulations and Financial Procedures Rules on the grounds that that “the goods, works or services are of a specialised nature carried out by only one or a limited number of firms with no reasonably satisfactory alternatives available”.
