Wyre Borough Council has agreed a
constitution, which sets out how the Council operates, how
decisions are made, and the procedures
that are followed to ensure that these are efficient, transparent
and accountable to local people.
The Constitution is
divided into 7 parts. The first 4
parts set out the basic rules governing the Council’s
business, followed by Codes and protocols (Part 5), the
Members’ Allowances Scheme (Part 6) and the Council’s
Management Structure and Scheme of Delegation (Part 7).
