To confirm as a correct record the minutes of the meeting of the Licensing Committee held on 28 June 2022.

Councillor C Birch informed the committee that she had attempted to contact the Assistant Democratic Services Officer to give her apologies for the meeting on the 28 June 2022, but had accidentally emailed the wrong email address. She had been given advice to ensure this did not happen again. She asked that the minutes be amended and her apologies noted.

The committee agreed the amendment.

The minutes of the meeting of the Licensing Committee held on the 28 June 2022 were confirmed as a correct record.

Report of the Corporate Director Environment.

The Corporate Director Environment submitted a report to support the committee in considering an application for review of a premises license, submitted by Lancashire Constabulary under section 51 of the Licensing Act 2003.

The Senior Licensing Officer introduced the report. He explained to members that owing to illness, the applicant’s representative was unable to attend this meeting, and asked the committee to consider adjourning to a later, specified date in order for the applicant to have their right to be represented at the hearing.

The Chair asked the committee to consider adjourning the meeting. A proposed date of the 30 November, at 6pm was considered. This was unanimously agreed by the committee, who resolved to meet to review this application on the 30 November 2022.
