The Corporate Director Communities submitted a report seeking approval to

 

·       allocate funds from the Performance Reward Initiative Reserve to create a new accessible entrance to the building adjacent to Central Car Park, Fleetwood in order that the ‘Fleetwood Beach Wheelchairs’ project can operate.

 

·       delegate future authorisation of the remaining Performance Reward Initiative Reserve, up to the amount of £10,000 per single beneficiary, to the Corporate Director of Communities and to transfer the balance to revenue and rename this the Together We Make a Difference Fund.

 

Decision

 

The Resources Portfolio Holder agreed

 

·       a one-off allocation of £3,000 from the Performance Reward Initiative Reserve to the Fleetwood Beach Wheelchair charity group, for the purpose of creating an accessible entrance for its customers and visitors.

 

·       to delegate authorisation of the remaining Performance Reward Initiative Reserve, up to the amount of £10,000 per single beneficiary, to the Corporate Director of Communities and to transfer the balance to revenue and rename this the Together We Make a Difference Fund.

The Corporate Director Resources (s.151 Officer) submitted a report seeking approval for the migration of the council revenues and benefits software system to a fully hosted system from Northgate Public Services Ltd.

 

Decision

 

The Resources Portfolio Holder granted approval

 

·       for the migration to a revenues and benefits software system fully hosted by Northgate Public Services Ltd.

 

·       to proceed under the Exemption to Contract Procedures contained within the Financial Regulations and Financial Procedures Rules on the grounds if a framework is available that necessitates the council not having to go out to tender and the goods, works or services will still provide the council with best value for money.
