To confirm as a correct record the minutes of the meeting of the Overview and Scrutiny Climate Change Sub-Committee held on Thursday 13 June 2024.

The Planning Policy and Economic Development Portfolio Holder, Councillor Le Marinel and Assistant Director of Planning and Building Control, Steve Smith will attend the meeting to provide members with a verbal update on planning policy, housing and climate change.

The committee have drafted a number of questions to ask the Planning Policy and Economic Development Portfolio Holder and Assistant Director of Planning and Building Control. Local Plan policy benchmarking data has also been provided to assist councillors with their questioning. These have been attached to the agenda.

The Director of Finance and Governance, Clare James, has submitted a report updating the committee about the delivery of the Overview and Scrutiny Climate Change Sub-Committee Work Programme 2024/25. George Ratcliffe, Democratic Services Officer, will introduce the report and respond to questions and comments from councillors.
