Report of the Corporate Director Resources.

The  Corporate Director Resources submitted a report seeking approval from the Resources Portfolio Holder for the purchase of a replacement online address lookup solution for our customer-facing services and online provision to be funded from the ICT Strategy Reserve.

Decisions

The Resources Portfolio Holder agreed that

·         the council would enter into an agreement to purchase hosted Singlepoint Address Base services from Jadu Creative LTD.

·         the council would procure the services of Jadu Creative LTD to upgrade the existing ESRI Bin Lookup Widget to work with the hosted Singlepoint Address Base Premium service.

·         approval would be given to deal with the procurement under the exemption to Contract Procedures contained within the Financial Regulations and Financial Procedure Rules; on the grounds that exemptions may apply where “a framework agreement is available that necessitates the council not having to go out to tender and the goods, works and services will still provide the Council with best value for money”.
