Decision: The Corporate Director Communities submitted a report seeking approval to replace the Storage Area Network (SAN) for the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Decisions The Resources Portfolio Holder gave approval to proceed with the proposed replacement of the existing SAN under the exemption to Contract Procedures contained within the Financial Regulations and Finance Procedure Rules on the grounds that exemptions may apply where “the goods, works or services are required urgently” and for the scheme, costing £30,704, to be added to the council’s Capital Programme for 2021/22 funded from the IT Strategy Reserve.
