· granted approval for £50,769 to be allocated to the Forton Village Hall and Recreation Ground (Charitable Trust) (The Trust) for landscaping (including drainage and groundworks) and redevelopment of the play area at School Lane, Forton and delegated authority to the Corporate Director of Environment to approve a scheme which will be delivered by The Trust. The Trust will retain and maintain the whole site, meeting required inspection and insurance regimes.
· agreed that the Council’s 2021/22 Capital Programme be amended to include improvements to School Lane play area using monies received by the council via the S106 obligation related to planning permission 14/00518/FULMAJ. |

Wyre Car Parks – Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points PDF 266 KB Report of the Corporate Director Environment. Decision: The Corporate Director Environment submitted a report asking for approval for the installation of fast electric charging points in Wyre for the charging of electric vehicles (EVs) subject to a successful application for grant funding from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).
Decisions
The portfolio holder agreed that
· the council contract with Electric Blue to install fast charging points on council owned car parks throughout the borough and the contract be fixed for seven years with an option to extend for an additional three years.
· the council make an application to OZEV to obtain grant assistance under the On-Street Residential Chargepoint Scheme to install EV charging points within council owned car parks.
· the use of EV chargers be restricted to a maximum of 4 hours use while the vehicle is charging during the day and unlimited from 6pm to 8am. |
