Housing Advisory Programme – Appointment of Consultants pdf icon PDF 160 KB

Report of the Corporate Director Resources.

Decision:

The Corporate Director Resources submitted a report seeking approval to deliver the Housing Advisory Programme grant of £25,000, which was received following the submission of a successful expression of interest, and to utilise up to a further £10,000 from existing budgets for associated site surveys.

 

Decision

 

The Resources Portfolio Holder gave approval to appoint specialist consultants to undertake a development brief in relation to the Bourne Hill, Fleetwood site under the exemption to contract procedures contained within the Financial Regulations and Financial Procedure Rules on the grounds that they may apply regarding “the appointment of consultants….and other people providing professional services”.

Refurbishment of the Children’s Playground on Memorial Park, Fleetwood pdf icon PDF 161 KB

Report of the Corporate Director Environment

Decision:

The Corporate Director Environment submitted a report seeking approval to deliver the first of two phases of the refurbishment of the playground on Memorial Park Fleetwood using monies from the council’s 2020/2021 Capital Programme for unallocated playground refurbishment as well as grant funding secured and money raised by the Friends of Memorial Park.

 

Decision

 

The Street Scene, Parks and Open Spaces agreed that

 

·         the Council’s 2020/21 Capital Programme be amended to include improvements to the playground on Memorial Park using a donation of £4,212 from the Friends of Memorial Park and a grant of £29,500 secured by the group from the Lancashire Environment Fund.

 

·         the council will act as project lead and accountable body for the grant awarded by the Lancashire Environment Fund.

 

·         the council allocate £2,788 of the unallocated playground refurbishment budget in the 2020/21 Capital Programme to the project.

Guidance for Applicants - Green Infrastructure in Residential Developments (Policy HP9) pdf icon PDF 682 KB

Report of the Corporate Director Communities

Decision:

The Corporate Director Communities submitted a report seeking approval of guidance for applicants relating to the provision of Green Infrastructure as part of residential developments.

 

Decision

 

The Planning and Economic Development Portfolio Holder approved the guidance for applicants and agreed that powers to make any necessary minor editorial amendments and corrections to the guidance for applicants prior to publication, be delegated to the Head of Planning Services.
