On 18 May 2017, the Service Director Performance and Innovation submitted a report seeking the Resources Portfolio Holder’s approval to declare land forming part of Derby Road East Car Park Thornton Cleveleys and registered at HM Land Registry with Title Number LA618776 (“the Land”) as surplus to the council’s operational requirements and to dispose of the Land to facilitate the refurbishment of the adjacent property 9-11 Cambridge Road.

Decision taken

The Resources Portfolio Holder agreed that the Land be declared as surplus and to the disposal of the Land on terms to be agreed by the Council’s Senior Estates Surveyor.
